Lindsay is a PhD student in the Department of Molecular Pathology and Immunology at Vanderbilt University. Her thesis research in Dr. Rachel Bonami’s laboratory focuses on understanding B cell changes and islet autoantigen recognition with type 1 diabetes disease progression. She is passionate about translational research and plans to pursue a career in which she can leverage her skills to build effective collaborations between academia, industry, the clinic, and patients. Therefore, she is excited to intern with the CSNK2A1 Foundation to partner in their goal to facilitate knowledge transfer between families, researchers, and clinicians to find a cure for OCNDS. She is eager to bring her immunology background to the CSNK2A1 Foundation to help highlight the immune-related symptoms of OCNDS. Outside of research, Lindsay enjoys running, playing pickleball and trying new restaurants.
