2026 Move Your Way
JOIN US THIS OCTOBER!
Bold Breakthroughs Month | October 1–31, 2026
Join our global Okur-Chung Neurodevelopmental Syndrome (OCNDS) community as we come together throughout the month of October to raise awareness and fund research that brings us closer to better treatments. Our Community Celebration Weekend is October 10–11, 2026, when families and supporters around the world will share their photos, stories, and activities online. Can't participate that weekend? No problem! Complete your challenge anytime during October and celebrate with us. Register by September 18, 2026, to help ensure your event T-shirt arrives before Celebration Weekend.
Do I Need to Run to Participate?
Absolutely Not! Move your way. Whether you walk your neighborhood, hike a favorite trail, ride your bike, play pickleball, golf with friends, dance in your living room, swim, or create your own challenge, every step helps fund the next breakthrough in OCNDS research. Invite your family, friends, neighbors, or coworkers to join you—or simply cheer you on by supporting your page. Participate anytime during October, then celebrate with our global OCNDS community during Community Celebration Weekend on October 10–11.
What is Our Theme for the Year?
Our foundation theme for the year is BOLD BREAKTHROUGHS. The overarching goals of the foundation are to:
- Fund Research to Find Treatments/Cure
- Support Families
- Raise Awareness
- Advocate for Change
- Fundraise to support our efforts
We can’t do this alone, and we thank you for your commitment to come together to make the lives of those living with OCNDS brighter. Whether you participate as an individual, become a Family Team Captain, or invite others to support your fundraiser, every step helps move OCNDS research forward.
Why RUN, WALK or ROLL? Why Donate?
OCNDS is a lifelong condition that significantly impacts the lives of those affected and their families. We’re raising $50,000 to support research focused on the top priorities identified at our recent conference—where families and researchers came together to chart the future of OCNDS. These include sleep, speech and language, anxiety, intellectual disability, GI health, and drug repurposing. Your support will help turn these priorities into progress.
